Food waste and food loss are not only environmental concerns. They are also major economic, social and food security challenges that affect every stage of the food system.
In response to this reality, the Afrique Center for Statistics, Artificial Intelligence & Innovation Research (ACSAIR) is launching the Africa Food Sustainability Challenge (TAFSC 2026), a skills-based learning challenge built around a self-paced course:

How the Challenge Works
Participation follows a simple three-step process:
- Enroll and complete the course (self-paced, approximately 10 hours).
- Prepare for the test using your course notes and any additional research you may need.
- Take the official FSC 2026 online test during the challenge window (10 MCQs, 15 minutes, one attempt only).
